We have extended the abstract submission till April 29, 2020! Use your chance to submit your abstracts for the 19th German Congress for Health Services Research.
At the moment nobody can say when congresses can take place again. However, we remain determined to organize the Congress at this time / later or in a digital format. At the congress, we will look in depth at the corona pandemic, its impact on health systems, and the implications for them.
Berlin is welcoming the German Congress for Health Services Research (DKVF2020) again this year and we would like to invite you to participate in the congress at the beginning of October.
The congress will take place for the 19th time in 2020 and will be particularly brought to life again through your contributions! We are really looking forward to your abstracts!
The congress president for 2020 is Prof. Dr. med. Reinhard Busse, Head of Health Management at the Faculty of Business and Management at the Technical University of Berlin.
on behalf of the German Network of Health Services Research, I am pleased to invite you to the 19th German congress of health services research, which will take place from 30th September to 2nd October 2020 in Berlin.
The topic for this years’ congress is “Access, Quality and Efficiency: Comparing countries' health care system performance for improved health services”. This topic will extend the previous focus on evaluating health care at a system level with a perspective beyond national borders shall mark several extensions of the previous horizon towards the (health) system level and with a perspective beyond national borders. During the congress, we want to focus on “Health Systems Performance Assessment”, and notably how different health care systems or their building blocks can contribute to improving access, quality, population health outcomes and efficiency. In this context, we will ask how Germany can learn from other countries and their experiences for improving the health care delivery system.
Similar to previous congresss, your contributions will significantly shape the congress, and we invite you to submit abstracts under the topics listed below. The congress is open to anyone interested in the field of health services research, and in particular young scholars. Use the congress as an opportunity to present your research outcomes, to discuss and to learn from each other.
Well-known international researchers—and an exciting congress format—will enhance and facilitate professional exchanges. I invite you to attend the congress, submit contributions to help shape the discussions and use this opportunity to actively participate and exchange with other professionals in Berlin in autumn 2020.
